Attractive Vexations explores the unseen beauty in the overlooked and misunderstood elements of the natural world. Focusing on moths—their habits, delicate wings, and instinctual pull toward light—the work celebrates fragile patterns and quiet resilience, turning what is often dismissed into something luminous. Butterflies are intentionally absent; their beauty is already known. This philosophy is reflected in the name of my studio, Cane Toad Studios: beauty exists everywhere, if we are willing to look on the underside or in the dark.
